The graph below shows the percentage of people unemployed in the total labour workfroce acroos 9 countries in 1994 and 2004.
It can be seen that in Ireland the rate of unemployed signigicant decreased. Whereas the biggest growth in unemployment rate was in Poland where it increased.
The unemployed rate in Italy and Canada noticeable decreased, in 1994 it was about 11% then falled around 8% in 2004. At the same time deacreasing was in UK and Ireland. In 1994 the rate in UK was 9.5% and in Ireland 14.8% ten years later both country declined to 5%. In addition we can see that in the USA in 1994 the rate was 7.2% then its go down to 5.4%.
Graphs shows us that in other countries was increasing between 1994 and 2004. In 1994 the percentage in Poland was 12.4 so in 2004 its increased to 19%. In Germany the rate rised from 7% to 9.4%. In Australia and Japan increasing was approximately 5%, although the rate in both country was around 3%.
