The table illustrates the amount of people who are without works in the total laboure workforce over a decade from 1994 to 2004 in 9 different countries.
Overall, China had the highest number of unemployed citizens in 1994, but it steadily decreased during the decade.Not only in China, but also in Poland was the highest rate of people without stable work in 2004.
According to the table, almost all of people in Japan had jobs in 1994, that is approximately 3% of population.However, in Italy just about 12% of people had not employment in 1994.In addition, the UK and Germany showed the average value in 1994, that is 9.5% and 7% respectively.
As regards, in 2004 Japan still had the lowest value of people without labour, but figure of Poland went up from 12.4% to 19%.Moreover, in the UK the amount of people without work decreased and stayed in second place after Japan in 2004.
