The line graph depicts the amount of produced energy from several types of fossil fuels, namely coal, natural gas and petrolium in the UK in a period of 19 years from 1981 to 2000. Overall, there is an upward trend for both petrolium and gas, while the production level of coal was halved by the end of the period.
It is clear from the graph, that the number of energy, that was produced from petrolium, was leading through the whole period. Started at nearly 90, its figure sharply incresed, having reached 140 in 1984. Then, after a smooth decline, it began to rise again, reaching the peak of about 145 in 1999, but after that, it slightly fell to 140 in 2000. In 1981 the production number of gas was almost 40, when it started to increase geadually and finally being doubled in 2000.
The production level of coal was equalled to 80 in 1981. Equalling to 80 in 1981, the production number of coal then flactuated considerably and continued to fall trhough the period, having stopped at its lowest point of approximately 37 in 2000.
