The pie charts demonstrate the import totals of five different kinds of vegestables in Qatari and Omani in 1990. The units are measured in tonnes.
Overall, Oman had higher imports than Qatar. In Qatar, the majority of plants imported was spinach, while the minority were peas. In Oman, the largest part of totals was garlic, whereas the smallest figure were broccoli and ginger.
One of the evidences of Qatar had lower imports than Oman was shown in ginger section, which were reported at the same number in both countries, which was 300 tonnes. In Qatar, the number represented approximately one sixth of the total, while in Oman, it represented only about one third of the diagram.
Regarding in Qatar, spinach was the main role which accounted for 450 tonnes, followed by garlic in 340 tonnes, ginger (300), broccoli (220), and finally the lowest, peas, which only being imported for 150 tonnes.
Moving on to Oman, garlic contributed for one third of the whole imports, which was the highest overall and reached 800 tonnes, followed by spinach and peas (400). Broccoli and ginger, as the lowest figure, had the an equal amount which stood for 300 tonnes only.
