The graph indicates the percentage of adults who used social media in the USA between 2012 and 2015. It is obviously that the five types of social media rose gradually over the period.
However, Americans using Pinterest doubled, growing from 15% to 31%. It had the most drastic change from 2013 to 2014, expanding from about 15% to 25%. In addition, the use of Instagram soared, increasing from 13% to 28%. Overall, the usage of Pinterest and Instagram has significantly increased during this time period.
Facebook from 2012 and 2015 of graph has high number of users which is 67% and it rose gradually to 72%. It is projected to grow over the years.
Another app, which is Linkedin, hit a peak at 29% and started to decline steadily. Twitter also is not increasing but staying stable at around 22% and does not show any result of growing in upcoming years.
