The line graph illustrates data about how many people were employed based on three economical categories in the UK over a decade from 2000 to 2010.
Overall, there were gradual upward trends in the both Public and Self-employed sectors whereas the Private sector decreased continuously over the given period in question.
Looking at details, as regard to Public sector, it started at around 40 and remained stable for three years which then went up noticeably by 10 in 2005. Despite falling down to approximately 45 in the following year, it recovered slowly during the remainder period and peaked at the highest point in graph, just over 50. Regarding the statistics of self-employed category, it reported just under 20 in 2000 which was the lowest among its other two competitors. There was a substantial fluctuation till the half of a decade, after which it grew steadily to 30 in the end.
As for Private sector, in spite of having the highest beginning unemployment rates at about 50, it experienced opposite trend in comparison with others. This figure crossed its path with Public sector in 2003 and with Private sector in 2007, displaying around 40 and 30 respectively. Having plummeted continuously for the whole 10-year period, it stopped at 20 in 2010, providing the least amount of employments
