The bar chart illustrates the percentage of UK and international students who gained second-class degrees or better in 2019.
In general, the differentiation between them wasn’t very significant. for instance, the nurse students got an exactly equal percentage by just higher than 70 percent. in contrast, in some cases, the differentiation was high. In the International technology subject, the UK students gained interestingly less rank compared with foreign students by less than 60%.
Having a bigger view on the bar chart reveals that only in the three subjects, international students can triumph and in two subjects they got equal marks (like Accountancy by 60%). Furthermore, in some Fields like English Literature which was comfortable for UK students owing to the fact that English was probably their mother tongue, they gained higher ranks. Moreover, the highest percentage belonged to the international students who gained more than 85%, and also the lowest percentage nearly 50% gained by them.
To sum up, in two majors, the two examined groups gained the same rank and in the other subjects except two, the UK students had higher ranks.
