The given graph depicts the alcohol consumption among the US population based on their age categories. There are four major classifications are illustrated in the chart. The measurement is analysed with the percentage of drinking.
Overall, the data reveals that liquor usage in the US population is touching its peak level from the age of 16. Although consumption is at a higher rate, the quantity of ex-drinkers is gradually increased above the age of 65.
As is presented in the graph, heavy drinkers are always above 90 per cent at the ages of 16 to 24 and 65 to 74. Moreover, the value of non-drinking people is almost around 60 per cent up to 44 per cent years old. The most significant figure is the person who crossed 35 years old and is engaged in alcohol consumption until they cross 54 years of life journey.
On the other hand, the essential factor is the level of light drinking gradually decreases during the various stages of life. The most significant is that due to the side effects of life ,diseases people after the 60 have reduced spirit which steadily increases the value of ex-drinkers which provides a good message to the younger generation.
