In 2030 the figure for visitors to Dublin stood at 6 million, before recovering to 4 million visitors in 2036, it halved to around 3 million visitors in 2034. In the following four years the numbers of visitors to Dublin experienced a considerable fall from 4 million in 2036 to around 1.5 million visitors in 2040.
