Overall,by having a cursory glance on a chart, it is evident that men were not as active as their female counterparts in working as teachers. Although nurseries and primary schools were workplaces attracting many more female educators than males, the reverse scenario is true for universities.
Looking at the details, among the six education systems, the most significant differences were in pre-schools and primary schools; the figures were around 95% and 90% for women and 5% and 10% for men, respectively. Likewise, secondary school was an education type in which females dominated again, with roughly 55 percent and 45 percent. In contrast, over two out of five university professors were men, making the difference between them more considerable.
