The above charts illustrates how energy is consumed in Australia compared to the energy usage in the greenhouse gas emission.
The first charts clearly shows both heating and water heating has the highest energy consumption with 42% and 30% respectively, summing to 72%. However, it’s comprises of four categories, i.e other appliances 15%, refrigeration 7%, lighting 4% and cooling 2% summing to 28%.
The second charts indicates that water heating, has the highest percentage with 32%, following the increase in other appliances with a double percentage of 28% towering to 60%. Also, the percentage of lighting increases to 8%, refrigeration 7% to 14% and cooling 2% to 1%.
As an overview, it is evident and crystal clear that water heating and heating has the highest energy consumption in the first charts while the other charts shows that water heating and other appliances are the main resources of greenhouse gas emission. More so, it is observed that cooling has the least energy usage for both charts and consequently the least outlet for greenhouse gas emitted.
