Two pie chart illustrate how energy is used in Australian household and percentage of greenhouse gas emissions form these energy use
Overall, heating and water heating account the largest energy use and the greenhouse gas emissions, while cooling and lighting takes smallest proportion in two charts. Its amazing that some energy use activities are not balance in greenhouse gas emissions.
In terms of energy which used in Australian household energy use, heating is the significant activity, at 42%, next the most way is water heating make up 30%, while other appliances follows at 15%, fridge is 15%, lighting and cooling is account for 4% and 2% which are the least ways to use energy in Australia.
Next is greenhouse gas emissions, water heating produces 32% greenhouse glasses and it becomes the highest operations. Although, household in Australia uses heating much, 42% in the first chart but in this chart, heating just makes 15% greenhouse glasses. Other appliances produce 28% of emissions which is higher than 15% energy was used. Fridge also uses less but produce emissions much, at 14% for production but its 7% in using energy in the first chart, cooling and lighting are the lowest ways, 8% and 3%.
In sum up, heating requires much energy most but produces less greenhouse gas emissions, while household and fridge use less but make a lot of emissions, have a no small in second charts.
