Overall, sales in Bernie’s Buns (BB) generally exceeded those in Lovely Loaves (LL) throughout the year. Another striking feature is that doughnuts were the most popular item sold in both bakeries, while the lowest figures belonged to salads in LL, compared to sandwiches in BB.
As regards BB, doughnuts came out on top with sales reaching around 1,400 items, followed by sandwiches and rolls with approximately 900 and 800 respectively. Ranking fourth were loaves of bread, at a figure slightly higher than 500, whereas sales of fresh salads were significantly lower, at under 200.
Similarly, LL’s best-selling product was also doughnuts, with around 1,100 sold. Sandwiches and rolls were the second and third most popular, accounting for roughly 600 and 500 sales in order. Coming next was bread at about 400, while salads recorded the lowest figure, standing at just over 100.
