Overall,all marriages and first marriges tended to decrease,while remarriages numbers became to a new trend.In addition,the number of first-time marriage is much higher than that of remarriages.
Starting at 400,000 in 1951, the total number of all marriages maintained at this level until reach a peak of 450,00 in 1971.After that, the proportion of all marriage declined dramatically to 350,000.
