The given graph illustrates earning of 3 different group ages of graduates including degree graduates, postgraduates and other certified employees in 2002.
Firstly, uptake of professionals with other qualifications, mostly is over than other graduates for all age groups under 46-50. However, They share the numbers in two age groups among people aged 46 to 55 with higher degree graduates. Strating from around 420 pounds for the 21-25 age group, earnings gradually increased with increase of age so in age group of 36-40 it showed a pick among other graduates. Then it slightly decreased for older age groups and ended with just under 700 pounds weekly for the oldest group.
First degree, on the other hand, had the lowest income among all three graduate groups, starting at near 350 pounds, it sharply increased by increasing ages untill 36-40 group. For older group aged 41-45 the increase slope was rather moderate. Then it decreased for 46-50 age group and then again increased to around 690 pounds for the oldest age group.
Higher degree graduates, had an income around 390 at the beginning, with similar upward trend showed 750 pounds for the 41-45 age group, but it decreased for older employees in this education group to around 710 pounds for people in age group of 51-55. The income sharply increased for the people in this group and ended at around 790 for the oldest group.
Overall, income for all graduates increased for people aged from 21 to 40 but for higher degree graduates and first graduates it decreased. Other qualifications had similar trends but it increased in the oldest age group.
