Overall, fruit output in three countries France, Spain and Germany fluctuated over 50 years, whereas Turkey mainly developed in fruit production from 1970 to 2010.
In Spain, fruit yield rose slightly from 5.7 million tons in 1970 to 6.2 million tons in 1980. However, after this period, the output declined gradually and continuously until 2010. The number of fruits in Germany decreased significantly by around 1 million tons over three decades. After that, production of fruits rose slightly, approximately 0.2 million tons, however the quantity of fruits continuously dropped in 2000-2010.
Fruit harvest in Turkey developed steadily over 50 years that rose from 2 million tons to 3.5 million tons. Not diminishing yields of fruits showed effective cultivation of laborers in this country. The output of fruits in France changed dramatically between 1970 and 2010. In 1980-1990, the number of fruit yield increased significantly that rose to about 1.3 million tons. However, the period in 1990-2000 recorded the quantity of fruits declined, whereas production of fruits increased again in 2000-2010. The figures of output of France illustrate unstable work performance in fruit production.
