The bar graph illustrates Angola’s crude oil production from 1980 to 1999, measured in thousands of barrels per day.
Overall, oil production from Angola had steadily increased throughout 1980 and 1999, with the exception of a minor fluctuation in the early 1980’s.
In detail, production started in Angola at 150 thousand barrels per day in 1980, followed by a slight decline of 20 thousand barrels per day in 1981, leading to the all time lowest of 110 barrels per day in 1982. Afterwards, Angola’s oil production started to rise around 180 thousand barrels in 1983 and slight increase in the following years. However, with the exception of 1988 and 1989; where the production has plateaued at 430 thousands per day. The early 1990’s (1990 to 1992) followed the same trend as 1983 to 1987 with a slight rise in thousands of barrels per day. Although, 1993 had a modest decline, dropping from previous year’s 510,000 to just 500,000 of barrels per day, the subsequent years had recovered and carried on with the upward trend.
