Then in April, they went down to 250 dirhams worth of gold sold, and in May, they dropped again to 200 dirhams. Now they decreased slowly from one month to another month; they dropped again in June and July. In June, they sold 150 dirhams worth of gold, and in July, they sold 120 dirhams worth of gold. Now in August 2002, the sales of gold in Dubai went up again; they increased to 210 dirhams, and then in September, they again dropped gold sales to 120 dirhams. Then in October, November, and December 2002, they slowly increased the sales of gold in Dubai. Now, in October and November, in both months, they sold 180 dirhams worth of gold, and in December 2002, the gold sales in Dubai slightly increased to 190 dirhams.
In 2002 in Dubai, the highest sales of gold were recorded in March, while the lowest sales occurred in July and September.
