Buses stand at exactly 40 g/km nitrogen oxide at 1 kph initially, decline gradually to just over 25 g/km when the speed is at 6 kph. From this point, the emissions grow proportionally with the speed, reaching 42 g/km at 130 kph. Lorries start with 33 g/km decrease steadily to roughly 15 g/km at 9 kph, then rise to 24 g/m at 130 kph, about 18 g/km less than buses.
In contrast, diesel and petrol car demonstrate a stable trend. Starting with 7 g/km and 11 g/km, these two vehicles fluctuate and nearly stabilize when the speed increases. When they come to their peak speeds, the amount of nitrogen emits just around 5 and 11 g/km, become the two most environmental-saving transportations among the four.
