The given line chart illustrates changes in the popularity of three variety of wild animals including bears, dolphins and whales, throughout North America between 2011 and 2016. As is observed, the bear population increased significantly while the number of dolphins steadily declined.
In the beginning, the number of bears accounted for the lowest count among all, in North America and its coastal areas, with just approximately 10 thousand. However, in the following years, its population dramatically increased and ended up with highest number, which was nearly 200,000 in 2016. On the other hand, there were 150,000 dolphins but their number sharply declined next two years. There was a slow plunge in the number of dolphins over the last 3 years and it was equal to 0 by 2016.
However, whale inhabitants kept fluctuating between 50,000 and 100,000 from 2011 till 2016 and concluded the period with a slight downward trend.
