Furthermore, it continued dropping/decreasing at a rapid speed down to the lowest number, which amounted to 50 people. However, when it comes to Tennis, this sport experienced an opposite trend when compared to the former one. Initially, tennis players consisted of 150 people, before this proportion slowly climbed to 200 in 1995. After that, the number of participants in Tennis overtook/surpassed that of Rugby, accounting for around 220 in the final year.
Regarding the less popular sporting activities, which were Basketball and Badminton, both sports amounted to 80 and 55 people respectively joining them in 1985. In the following years, both activities exhibited a similar fluctuation, in which they increased then declined in insignificant proportions. In the final recorded year, the number of individuals who played Basketball and Badminton constituted the same rate that each of them began with, indicating no significant change within these types of sport.
