The number of shops opened and closed during the given period between 2011 and 2018 in particular country is illustrated in the line graph.
Overall, it is noticeable that both shop closures and openings showed gradual decrease in numbers except for statistics of closures between 2014 and 2016, when major fall and boost in number of closed markets happened in such a short period.
At the outset, the total of new shops in 2011 was more to about 2000, but in the next year situation changed completely because of dramatic decrease of new opened shops nearly to the half that resulted in 2000 difference again(closures were higher than openings). Subsequently, till the 2014 statistics of both closures and openings showed stable rise: number of each of them was around 6000-6500 respectively.
Since 2014 the total of openings has begun to shorten. While in that year the graph shows 6000 openings, at the end of 2018 this number decreased up to 50%, with 3000 opened new markets. Number of closures, on the other hand, managed to drop to only 500 from 6000 in one year, but in the next year it again surged to 5000. Finally, in 2018 the total of closures in one country was more to 2000 compared to openings with 5000 and 3000 respectively.
