Overall, international graduates of all Canada provinces, except Alberta, increased rapidly between 2001 and 2006. New Brunswick is the province with the highest percentage during both years.

In 2001, New Brunswick had approximately 7% of international graduates, followed by Nova Scotia, Quebec, and Alberta, which were close to 6%. British Columbia reached 4.5%, and the other provinces showed lower percentages, around 2.5%, of international students graduated this year.

By 2006, the proportion of international student graduates in Canada’s provinces had increased, except for Alberta, which dropped to almost 4%. There was a significant increase for the other universities, but New Brunswick led the way with around 12%. Nova Scotia and British Columbia both achieved a rate of around 10.5%, with the latter increasing double between both years. Quebec still achieved 8% of international student graduates, while other provinces achieved around 6%.
