Depicted in the line graph is information about four various types of fuels usage from 1800 to 2000.
Overall, it can be easily noticed that wood was only source in the beginning and decreased all the way down to zero during the period. Coal from beginning and others later started to increase in usage as well.
Starting with wood, which sharply declined from 100% to about 5% between 1800 and 1950, and then persisted on decreasing until 2000 gradually.
Coal’s usage started to grow in 1800 and in around 1875 reached to a point when coal and wood equally used (50% for both). Coal continued its trend till 1900 when reached to its peak, just below 70% and declined gradually down to about 33% untill 2000. 1900 was also a year when two new sources of fuel started to be used. Oil and gas rose up to 33% from 1900, and in 2000 three sources were used equally about 33% for each.
