The graph demonstrates percentage usage of differient fuels between 19 and 21 century.
Overall, it is clear that wood was the most common fuel source around 1800, but its usage significantly decreased over time, particularly after 1850. Coal experienced a notable increase in usage, peaking around 1900, and then gradually declined.
Following this, oil began to gain popularity in the middle of 20 century, steadily increasing throughout the peris shown. Gas showed a later but consistent rise in usage, especially in the latter half of the 20 century. It is noticable that coal, oil, and gas are in the same percentage of usage and illustrates the same level. Wood demonstrates the opposite trend, in today’s world no one use it.
