Regarding the use of telephone in various households, it showed a modest reduce, which was around 95% in 2001 and slightly decreased to 90% in the following year. In contrast, mobile phone witnessed a tripled increase, raising from only 20% to exactly 80% in 2008. Meanwhile, the percentage of Home computer in families doubled from 40% to 80% over the same period. Furthermore, there were the significant increases in the proportions of microwave and CD player from 2001 to 2008, the use of microwave rose from 80% to 90% demonstrating a slight increase compared to that of CD player, growing from 70% to 90% in the final year.
Concerning the proportion of Internet and dishwasher used in households, despite the similar pattern of merely 10% in 2001, the internet usage jumped to 60% in 2008 compared to only 40% increase was observed in Dishwasher at the same stage.
