Line graph illustrates quantity of adult vegetarians in the UK from 1980.
On 1980, the number of vegetarian individuals was on it’s lowest point with less than 200000 people, but, with a steady growth until 1985, the number increased to 250000. Although, it was not permenant, and by 1995, it reached 200000 again.
From 1995 to 2000, a sharp rise almost doubled vegetarian people to 400000, but until 2015, it was again 200000. From 2015 onwards, vegetarians began to raise rapidly and their population was rocketed to 950000 by 2020.
To sum up, population of the UK vegetarians did not changed a lot from 1980 to 2015, exept a five-year period from 1995 to 2000. Since 2015, number of people following a vegetarian diet exprienced more than 4 times increase until 2020
