The graph gives the information about the price of bananas in a period from 1996 to 2004 in Japan, France, Germany and in The USA.
Overall, from the start till the end, price for bananas did not rose significantly. However, in some countries it has undergone enormous fluctuations. The biggest change in price happened in Japan while the least was in France.
Japan is the country which suffered drastic changes in price. Banana’s price rose for $0.50 from 1996 to 2004. The biggest rise happened between 1998 to 1999, prise increased from $2 to $3 afterwards dropping and fluctuating between $2 and $2.5 till the end of 2002, and dropping largely to $1.5 with the later rise to $2.5. Moreover, this was almost similar to all countries. Conversely, France was the country, in which price for bananas barely changed, it decreased from $2 to $1.95, and experiensed soft changes from 1999 to 2003.
In Germany prise increased for $0,25 which is silimilar to The USA. This country had the biggest change from the start of 2000 to the end of 2003, prices rose from $1.25 to $2 and at the end of the period, dropped to $1.75. The USA had not experienced drastic changes, the price for bananas in this country rised once in 1998 from $1 to $1.25 and remained the same till the end.
