This graphic illustrates the result of a survey of an amount of American adults about their interest in extreme sports.
Overall, whitewater rafting has the highest amount of adults that have done it, followed by rock climbing. In contrast, bungee jumping is one of the least interesting extreme sport in the survey since most of the people answered “No interest” and not a lot of people have done it, followed by windsurfing.
Regarding whitewater rafting, it had aproximately 25% of people that have done it and almost the same amount of people that want to try it. Only 5% of the people were not sure to do it and 40% were not interested on it. Rock climbing was the second popular category in the survey with 20% of people that did it and also want to try it. In contrast to whitewater rafting, rock climbing had a higher rate of people that were not interested to try it almost getting to 60%.
Hot air ballooning had the highest amount of adults that answered that they want to try it sometime, hitting almost 40%. Almost 5% of the adults said that they were not sure about it and 40% answered that they were not interested on it. Windsurfing and bungee jumping had a similar rate of adults that have done the sport but did not reached to more than 10%. They also share on being the sports that most people voted for “No interest”. But bungee jumping had a slightly more percentage with almost 10% difference.
