The line graph illustrates the amount of vehicles in England and Wales from 2000 to 2020. Whereas, the bar chart demonstrates the data on CO2 ejection from several transports in the same period given.
Overall, the amount of vehicles in England and Wales experienced a gradual rise. As for the bar graph, cars contributed the largest proportion of CO2 emissions, while the reserve was true for the buses. Additionally, the harmful emissions of vans and trucks slightly increased over the same period.
In 2000, the number of transports was sharply 20 million, before increasing to 35 million in 2010 and reaching a peak of 60 million progressively in 2020.
The cars had the highest proportion of CO2 emissions which was 2,25 million in 2000 and grew slightly to sharp 3 million at the end of the span. As for the buses, the figure of ejections experienced a mild growth to just below the 0.5 million and maintained the same level in both 2010 and 2020. In addition, the detrimental ejection of trucks continued to rise noticeably from just above the 0.5 million in 2000 to 1.25 in 2020. Compared to the trucks, the CO2 emissions of vans were responsible for exactly 0.5 million in 2000 and remained stable at 0.75 million till the end of the period.
