The data presents us with the current rates of secondary and tertiary education among people in several parts of the world. Overall, more people were seen to receive secondary education than higher education with Europeans topping the graph for both the cases.
Fluctuations can be seen in the trends with Europe’s population receiving the most amount of secondary education and SSA with the least. A higher percentage of people were seen with secondary education in Europe with females standing at 100 percent while the males were at 90. For most of the times the percentage of females with secondary education was higher than male but that was not the case in East Asia where the males were at 50 percent whereas the female percentage was at 40.
The population of adults were not seen with much higher education compared to the school aged population with secondary education. Europeans were seen to top this graph with the male and female percentage at 50 and 40 percent respectively. SSA was seen again at the bottom with the male population being at about 25 percent whereas the female at 20 percent. The male population is seen to be more eager to pursue higher education than the female population in regions like SSA, Latin America and East Asia.
