Overall, the first graph experienced an upward trend before declining, while each line in the remaining graph showed a bimodal distribution. Additionally, North America consistently accounted for the highest figures in both kinds of travel.
According the first chart, the number of the holiday tourists from France was about 0.9 million, which was marginally higher than the figures for North America tourists at the beginning. However, the number of the North America travellers increased rapidly, surpassing that of France in February. Then this figure reached the highest point in July (approximately 3.0 million), which was twice as high as the tourists from France. In addition, the North America visitors number fell sharply to the lowest point, about 0.7 million, which was lower than the figure for France visitors by 0.2 million at the end of the period.
Regarding the remaining graph, both lines showed similar trends. At the beginning of the year, the number of business visits from France and North America was 0.05 million and 0.15 million, respectively. In May, both figures grew to twice their original values before decreasing dramatically by 0.1 million in August. Additionally, the visitors from America reached its peak in Octorber, at 0.35, then fell to 0.25 at the end. Similarly, the figure for that from France hit the highest point in Octorber and dropped considerably, which consistently was less than half as high as the North America visitors.
