Overall, it is clear in the line graph that the internet users are increasing and the most dramatic increase was recorded between 1999 and 2000. Additonally, USA and Canada are accounting for largest proportion of internet users in 2003.
Broadly sepaking, the number of internet users are increasing with the highest jump recorded from 195 million to 451 million users between 1999 and 2000. Another significant increase of 99 million can be noticed in the very next year that is from 2000 to 2001. Apart from them, the graph shows moderate growth each year.
The bar chart shows that USA and Canada are the majority shareholders of the internet usage across the world with 53%. In comparison, Europe comes second with 24% and is even less than half of the proportion of what USA and Canada shares. Asia/Pacific comes third with 15% of users with South America contributing to just 6%. Middle East and Africa each hold 1% of total volume.
