The given graphs compares the data on Australian consumption with three different countries within a six-year-period.
Overall, Australia relied on mostly export with three countries in almost all year, compared to import, with the exception of China in the end of the year which import outraced the former consumption. It’s observed the highest numbers in export with Japan, while China showed the least figures.
Looking at the details, Australia’s trade with China showed higher figures in 2002, compared to other countries, accounted for 45. However, despite its highest export consumption, this figures started to decrease in 2005, which fell into 39 by 2008. Despite the lower figures, import increased rapidly and became the most significant consumption with China by 2008, accounted for 44.
Turning to the another graph, Japan began the period with the same figures almost as China in export, about 43. In the middle of the period, US saw a rise in the number of export and reached its peak after about one year, about 62, before falling slightly. Import, with this country, remained as the least significant consumption.
When it comes to US, both types of marketing didn’t show significant figures over the period. At the beginning of the period, export was about 40, while import was around 20. Until 2008, both of them remained stable and then increased about 1 and 2.
