The four bar chart ilucidate the export quantity relating to four different categories of citrus fruits, namely: orange, lemons, grapefruits and others in various countries in 2012. They also represented three nations, which witnessed the largest export in each category.
Overall, oranges were the most widely exported citrus fruits, with South Africa taking the lead, whereas Turkey was the largest exporter of grapefruits. It is also clear that the majority of lemon and others exporting came from Mexico.
In term of oranges, South Africa exported the highest quantity of oranges, reaching exactly 1 million tone, significantly higher than Egypt’s export of 500 thousand tones and that of the United Stated at approximately 400 thousand tones. Turning to grapefruits, Turkey was the top exporter at 4 million tones, followed by Mexico and the United States, at 300 thousand tones and 200 thousand tones, respectively.
For lemons and other types of citrus fruits, it is apparent that Mexico dramatically dominated both categories, at the same level of nearly 500 tones Morever, two and 1 millions tones of lemons were exported by the United States and Argentina in 2012 surveyed. Finally, the quantity of other fruits exportd in Egypts and the US was the lowest in the provided bar charts, at merely 0.5 million tones.
