Overall, oranges were the most exported fruit, whereas the numbers for other types of citrus fruits were the lowest. Export numbers vary widely across countries.
In detail, being the most exported fruit, oranges were mostly shipped from South Africa, at 1000, closely followed by Egypt and then the United States, at around 900 and 700. The US and South Africa also exported grapefruits, with the figures for both standing at approximately 220. Turkiye, on the other hand, exported only around 170.
As for lemons, the major exporter was Türkiye, with 500, whereas lemon exports from Argentina amounted to half that. The quantity of exported lemons from Mexico accounted for approximately 450. Mexico exceeded other countries by a considerable margin in the export of other citrus varieties, at approximately 450. Both Israel and the US barely exported this type of fruit.
