Overall, it can be seen that university graduates with professional degree had the highest weekly income. On the other hand, graduates with less than a high school diploma had the highest rate of unemployment in 2005.
To begin with, the average weekly earning of university graduates with professional, doctoral, master, and bachelor degrees were 1800, 1700, 1560, and 1246 dollars, respectively; however, students with no degree, high school diploma, and less than a high school diploma had the minimum number of average weekly salaries (840, 701, and 538 dollars, respectively).
In sharp contrast, unemployment rate of university graduates with less than a high school diploma, high school diploma, and no degree were 8.2%, 5.8%, and 4.2%, respectively. Also, around 2.9% and 2.6% of graduate students with bachelor and master degrees were idle. Graduates with professional and doctoral degree had the lowest rate of unemployment in 2005 (1.4% and 1.3%).
