The given bar chart and table provide the proportion of unemployment in US citizens and illustrate the average weekly earnings in 2005 according to different professional degrees.
Overall, the highest unemployment percentage was seen in less then a high school diploma and professional and doctoral degree were the least. While, professional degree was the highest weekly earners and less than a high school diploma was earning the least.
In 2005, the less than a high school diploma and high school diploma were unemployed by 8% and slightly above 5%. Consequently, the average weekly earnings of these both degree holders were 538 dollars and 701 dollars. Whereas, the least unemployed rate was in professional and doctoral degree with higher average weekly earnings. The proportion were around 1.5% with 1800 dollars professional and 1740 dollars in doctoral degree.
Moreover, some college no degree had above 4% unemployment rate and 840 dollars weekly earning. In the bachelor’s and masters’ degree, there were unemployment rate percentage between 2% and 3% and had 1246 dollars and 1560 dollars average weekly earnings.
