Looking from an overall perspective,it is clearly evident that the infections were on and off throught this decade.Eventhough in the year 1985,less than half of the population had flu, this figure increased drastically after 5 years which could be regulated by the year 1995.
In the year 1985, only 40 elderly people were diagnosed with the prescence of influenza virus in their bodies which increased approximately 15 percent in the upcoming two years.Nevertheless, the number of diseased people was controlled and fall down to less than 50 in the next year. It can be seen that again in the year 1989 their was an upsurge in the numbers and now it became 50.Next two years showed a remarkable increase in the proportion of people infected with flu.Morover, it can be seen that it was in the year 1991 where most number of cases were reported.In the following years ,people started being immune to this disease and numbers came down to 60.
