Overall, it is clearly seen that,this process include of six main steps: shearing, baling, washing, carding, streching and twisting, or wounding.
The first step is the sheep are sheared to manually with a trimming machine, when sheep was fully cleaned. After that, the collected fleece is baled into a huge bundle. And now the bale is transpoted to the milli, where the baled fleece is washed in water completly to remove the dirt. The fleece is ready for carding.
In a carding machine, the cleaned fleece gor to the carding machine coms for the loose wool fibers into a sheet, then rhe sheet is twisted into a rope , called sliver. The sliver is then stretched and twisted in toa cone to form a thin yarn, Finally, the thin yarn is wounded into balls of wool.
