The line chart illustrates the data for 4 countries which are contributed in producing the carbon dioxide emissions in million metric tons. Overall , while China and India generated more carbon emissions , the figure for the USA and Russia remained more or less stable. It is also clear that China and te USA showed much bigger numbers than India and Russia.
Focusing on much bigger numbers first, United States produced around 5000 million metric tons of carbon emissions in 1990 and it then rose up to 6000 mln metric tons in 2005. However, the figure then fall gradually to around 5000 mln metric tons in 2020. Starting at much lower figure ( 24000 mln metric tons), China’s carbon emission rate saw a gradual increase up to approximately 103000 million metric tons in 2015 before remaining stable in the next 5 years.
When it comes to Russia and India, the amount of carbon emissions for the former was around 2000 million metric tons, before decreasing slightly to 1900 million metric tons in 2005. After which it almost remained stable until 2020. In contrast , approximately 1000 million metric tons of carbon emissions was generated in India, the figure that then continued its upward trajectory up to 2400 million metric tons.
