The line graph presents the enrollment of International Students in Australia in four universities (University A, University B, University C and University D) between 2000 and 2015.
Overall, it is clear that the overseas students attended four different universities in Austria exhibited an upward trend over a 15-year period. But the most significant growth can be seen from International students enrolled in University A. While the least is shown in University D.
In 2000, around 3000 foreign students enrolled in University B, making it the highest number compared to the other three universities. Over the next five years, the trend remained steady. Whereas the lowest number came from University D with numbers just above zero, making it the lowest in 2000 but the figure increased steadily over the following five years. University A and C started with 2000 and under 2000 overseas students respectively and the trends grew steadily, but in 2005 students enrollment in university A saw a sharp rise hovering at around 5000, surpassing University B’s graph.
From 2005 onwards, the number of foreign students in university skyrocketed, reaching 16000 students in 2013 and the figure levelled off for the rest of the period. University B also saw a notable rise and continued to increase, reaching around 9000 students in 2015, followed by University C which showed a stable rise throughout the period. And lastly, University B exhibited the least growth among four universities. The number of overseas students increased steadily from 1000 to 3000 between 2005 to 2015.
