The first chart represents the relationship between age and crime in the UK for crimes happened last year. The second chart given breaks down these crimes to its types by percentages.
Initially, it can be seen that most of the crimes are committed by younger people who aged between 16 to 24. A drastic drop happens in number of crimes as age goes to 28 from 24. After the 28 year old people; as age is getting bigger, amount of criminal cases of age groups decreases slightly according to the line graph given.
When we examine the pie chart, violent crimes comes as the most dominant type of crimes as they cover almost half of the total crimes happened during the last year. Then the drug and property crimes follows, each representing nearly quarter of the criminal activities in the UK.
Overall, there is a great variation between age groups and number of criminal incidents, and the type of crimes also vary dramatically.
