The line graph and pie chart depict information related to crime in the UK for the last year.
The line graph shows the relationship between age and crime for the last year. The number of crimes committed in the UK is shown on the y-axis, and the x-axis shows the age of people committing the crimes. From 0-8 years, the numbers remain stagnant; however, from the age of 12 to 16, crime drastically increases from roughly 5 thousand to 70 ten thousand. Crime reaches its peak at 80 ten thousand for people aged 20 and decreases as humans get older. From 28 years onwards, crime gradually decreases and remains just under 10 ten thousand.
The pie chart uses percentages to depict the types of crime committed in the UK last year. The highest was violent crime, 46% and the lowest was public order crime, 9%. These crimes were committed mostly by young people aged 16 to 24, and people aged 28 and over are less likely to commit these crimes.
