The line grapgh compares women and men smokers in Bhutan in terms of their percentage for 40 years starting from 1960. Overall, men smokers’ percentage experienced downward trend while opposite was true for women’s. Notebly, in 1975 women smokers’ percentage expe peak time comparing with other years.
According to the graph, in the beginning year men smokers were a lot, the percentage was 600. Then year by year the percentage started to slightly decline. In each year it only decreased without any grow. In a final year it became 300 percent. From 1960 till 2000 the percentage started fell by half.
Turning to the data for women, their smoking pecentage followed the opposite pattern , rising gradually throughout the 40-year period. The surprising thing is that in 1960 the women smokers’ percentage was equal to 0. However, after this year it significantly rised. The peak percentage was in 1975. The smokers’ percentage grew till 1975 in that year it was 350%. Then it started to gradually decrease. In a final year it became 100% only. Comparing to 1960, in 2000 percentage’s difference was lone 100.
