A glimpse at the line graph provided compares the percentages of unemployment in three different countries between 1991 and 2005.
From a general perspective, it is explicit that Spain’s rate witnessed a dramatic decline, which proceeded in 1995, whereas Italy decreased steadily since 1999. In addition, Germany fluctuated upward through the whole period.
For the first two years, Spain’s unemployment rate saw an exponential rise from 13 to 18, then it retained the highest figure over the two years before reducing tremendously by almost 8. As regards Italy, ahead of 1991, it grew progressively up to 12, after that the rate was reached to 8.
Regarding the German movement, in 1997, the percentage amounted to a mere 10, following 4 years, the figure was a remarkable decline, that comprised to 6%, before the enormous increase up to approximately 11% until the end of the period.
