overall, Spain had the highest unemployment rate for the most of the period, while Germany and UK showed a general decrease. France remained stable compared to other countries.
In 2005, France and Spain both started at around ‘9%, while Germany was about 11% and UK was lower at around 5%. By 2010, Spain increase sharply to about 20%, while Germany fell to around 7%.The UK rose slightly to about 8% and France stayed close to 9%.
In 2015, Spain reached highest point at over 20% and drop to about 15% in 2020. Frence increase a little to 10% in 2015 and then fell to about 8% in 2020. Germany continued to decline to about 4%, while UK also dropped gradually to around 4% by the end of the period.
