It is clear that all age group of cinema visitors manifested similar tendencies over a twenty-years period, despite with slight fluctuations.Another noticeable point is that individuals who aged between 44 and 54 comprised the largest proportion, while the lowest attendance rate belonged to those aged under 24.
Specifically, in 1990, there were similar percentages of people who aged 34 to 44 and aged 44 to 54, culminating at roughly 36%. Regarding with those who aged 14 to 24 and 24 to 34, their willingness to watch movies are lower, which were approximately at 15% and 24%.
Meanwhile, in first ten years, the figure for all age groups rose by nearly 3% in 1995, before experiencing a decline by 5% in the subsequent five years. However, by 2010, the proportions of people aged 14 to 24 and 24 to 34 continued to rise, at the peak of 51% and 43% respectively. Compared to that, those of other groups remained steadily, at 33% or so for audience members aged 24 to 34 and almost 21% for those 14 to 24.
