Looking at the graph more closely, the consumption of hamburgers arised continuously in the entire period. The number of times eaten per year indicates over 100 in 2000 while it shows about 10 in 1975. Also, a similar upward trend can be seen in pizza which also rose consistenly over the period.
In contrast, the consumption of fish and chips declined dramatically from 100 times in 1975 to under 40 in 2000 despite fluctuations in the period between 1975 and 1990.
