The line graph illustrates the proportion of cinema attendance categorized into four age groupes in Great Britain, throughout 2000 and 2011.
Overall, people aged between 15 to 24 accounted for the highest share during all periods, meanwhile, both groupes aged between 25 to 35 and 7 to 14 experienced fluctuations. In contrast, the proportion of people aged 35 and over increased during the period.
At the beginning of the period, the attenders aged 35 and over recorded the lowest share, at around 2% but its figures rose consistently to reach the highest level, about 11%, by 2011. Similarly, people aged between 25 and 35 showed a gradual upward trend with some fluctuations, increasing from roughly 5% in 2000 to nearly 22% million in the final year.
In contrast, the groupe of people aged between 15 and 24 started with the highest percentage, at nearly 19% , and experienced a a sharp increse throughout the period, ending at around 57%. Meanwhile, the share of groupe aged between 7 to 14 fluctuated slightly and peaked at about 39% in 2010, before falling to 30% at the end of the period
